NEXTGEN GARAGE DOOR SOLUTIONS LLC

ANNUAL OVERHEAD SHIELD PROTECTION PLAN — TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: August 2, 2026

Provider: NextGen Garage Door Solutions LLC ("Company", "We", "Us")

Customer: The individual or entity named on the Plan Enrollment Invoice ("Member", "Customer", "You")

Governing Jurisdiction: State of Maryland (MHIC Licensed)

1. PLAN OVERVIEW & ANNUAL PRICING STRUCTURE

This Agreement establishes the terms and conditions of the Annual Overhead Shield Protection Plan ("Plan") provided by NextGen Garage Door Solutions LLC for residential overhead garage doors at the primary address specified upon enrollment.

Annual Plan fees are structured strictly by the number of active overhead garage doors enrolled at the designated property:

  • 1-Door Residential Property: $149.00 per year

  • 2-Door Residential Property: $229.00 per year

  • 3-Door Residential Property: $279.00 per year

  • Additional Doors (4+ Doors): $50.00 per additional door / year

Plan fees are collected in full as an annual upfront payment at enrollment. All Plan payments are non-refundable once the initial 21-Point Safety Inspection has been conducted.

2. INCLUDED PLAN BENEFITS

During the active 12-month Plan term, the Member is entitled to the following benefits for enrolled doors:

  1. One (1) Annual 21-Point Safety Inspection & Tune-Up: Includes complete system lubrication (hinges, rollers, bearings, springs), track alignment inspection, fastener tightening, door balance testing, cable inspection, and automated opener force/safety reverse testing.

  2. One (1) Priority Response & Waived Service Call Fee: Priority scheduling for emergency service requests. The standard diagnostic/truck roll service call fee is waived for one (1) emergency service visit per Plan year.

  3. 15% Member Hardware Discount: A 15% discount off standard retail pricing for non-warranty replacement hardware, garage door openers, accessories, panel repairs, and weather seal upgrades.

  4. Zero-Cost Spring Replacement Warranty: 100% coverage for parts and labor on broken spring replacements for enrolled doors, subject to the pre-qualification and limitations detailed in Sections 3 and 4.

3. PRE-QUALIFICATION INSPECTION & PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS

  1. Mandatory Pre-Qualification: Plan warranty benefits—specifically the Zero-Cost Spring Replacement Warranty—become effective only after an initial 21-Point Safety Inspection is performed by a certified NextGen Garage Door Solutions technician.

  2. Pre-Existing Damage Exclusion: Any torsion spring, extension spring, or related hardware documented as broken, cracked, severely rusted, stretched, improperly pitched, or unsafe during the initial inspection is deemed a Pre-Existing Condition.

  3. Remediation: Pre-existing damaged components are excluded from Plan coverage. The Customer must approve and pay for initial replacement of pre-existing defective springs at the 15% Member-discounted rate to activate ongoing spring warranty coverage for that door.

4. WAITING PERIOD & WARRANTY CLAIM LIMITS

  1. 30-Day Waiting Period: Zero-Cost Spring Replacement Warranty claims cannot be filed or fulfilled within the first thirty (30) calendar days following initial Plan enrollment and payment.

  2. Annual Claim Cap: Spring replacement coverage is limited to a maximum of one (1) spring replacement event per enrolled door per 12-month Plan cycle.

  3. Scope of Claim: A covered spring replacement event includes replacing the failed spring(s) (torsion pair or extension pair as engineered for that door) and calibration labor.

5. COVERED HARDWARE & EXCLUSIONS

  1. Covered Equipment: Plan warranty applies exclusively to standard residential oil-tempered or galvanized torsion springs and extension springs properly engineered for standard residential sectional overhead doors.

  2. Excluded Hardware & Conditions: The following are explicitly excluded from Zero-Cost Warranty coverage (but remain eligible for the 15% Member Discount):

    • Commercial, heavy-duty industrial, or custom ultra-high-cycle (>25,000 cycle) spring systems.

    • Internal Wayne Dalton TorqMaster spring assemblies (unless converted to standard torsion systems at standard rates).

    • Garage door opener motors, logic boards, gear kits, remote controls, or safety sensors.

    • Structural door panels, tracks, lift cables, nylon/steel rollers, hinges, bottom brackets, or perimeter weather seals.

    • Damage resulting from vehicle impact, structural building settlement, fire, flooding, severe weather, acts of God, vandalism, or improper DIY modification/tampering by uncertified third parties.

6. CUSTOMER MAINTENANCE & ACCESS OBLIGATIONS

  1. Inspection Access: The Customer is responsible for scheduling and granting technician access for the annual 21-point inspection within the 12-month Plan term.

  2. Forfeiture: If the Customer fails or refuses to allow the annual inspection to be completed within the Plan year after reasonable notification attempts by the Company, ongoing warranty coverage for that term is forfeited without refund or credit.

7. AGREEMENT TERM, RENEWAL & CANCELLATION

  1. Initial Term: This Agreement is effective for twelve (12) consecutive months commencing on the date of initial payment.

  2. Automatic Annual Renewal: Plan membership automatically renews for successive 12-month terms on the anniversary date. The Company will send written or digital renewal notice thirty (30) days prior to billing.

  3. Cancellation: Either party may cancel renewal by providing written or email notice at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the current 12-month term.

  4. Non-Transferable: This Agreement applies to the specific residential property address designated at enrollment and is non-transferable to other properties, but may be transferred to a new homeowner at the same address upon written request.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & GOVERNING LAW

  1. Liability Limit: To the maximum extent permitted under Maryland law, NextGen Garage Door Solutions LLC’s total liability for any claims arising out of or related to this Agreement or services performed hereunder shall not exceed the total annual Plan fee paid by the Customer during the current agreement year.

  2. Consequential Damages: In no event shall the Company be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including property damage or loss of use).

  3. Governing Law & Venue: This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland. Any legal dispute or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Cecil County, Maryland.
